Sibutramine Magnus Pharmaceuticals
Sibutramine reduces caloric intake by suppressing appetite and increasing satiety and increases metabolism, increasing the body's caloric intake. Sibutramine acts on the hypothalamus (in the brain), which is responsible for controlling anxiety and hunger. Thus, it is classified as an appetite suppressant and is administered orally for the treatment of obesity (recommended for weight loss and maintenance of lost weight).

Side-effects
In some patients, sibutramine may increase blood pressure. Thus, all patients treated with sibutramine should undergo regular pressure monitoring.
The following side effects are uncommon but serious and require immediate medical attention: cardiac arrhythmia, paresthesia, mental and mood changes.
Symptoms requiring urgent medical attention are: seizures, urinary problems, chest pain, hemiplegia, abnormal vision, dyspnoea and oedema.

1 tablet in the morning before breakfast.
